Academic Search Complete (1984 - Current)
Provides full text for more than 3,430 scholarly publications covering academic areas of study including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies. This database is updated on a daily basis.

Annals of American History Online
Provides a year-by-year documentary of American thought and action through original source documents, photos and multimedia. The 2100 entries include speeches, essays, biographies, landmark court decisions, editorials and more from such important figures in American life as Madeleine Albright, Henry Ford, John Hancock, Malcolm X, and Edgar Allan Poe. Also includes photos and multimedia (examples are the first inaugural address of Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy discussing Soviet missiles in Cuba.)

AP Images (1880 - Current)
Contains over 750,000 photographs from news stories on the AP wire service, updated daily with about 200 historic photos added monthly dating from the 1880s. In addition, contains approx. 14,500 maps, graphs, charts, logos, flags, illustrations, etc., and a half-million audio clips.

Art and Architecture Digital Media

Chinese language encyclopedia includes 14,000 articles in Simplified Chinese with 1,600 images and 200 maps.

CDRI: Cooperative Digital Resources Initiative
From the American Theological Library Association, CDRI is a repository of digital resources contributed by member libraries, including images of woodcuts, photographs, slides, papyri, coins, maps and manuscripts.
