Equipment Available to Borrow

This equipment is available to JCU Students, Faculty and Staff. All loans are for 2 days and items will be checked out through the Grasselli Library system. Equipment can be renewed for an additional two days if there are no pending requests for that item. The fine for overdue equipment is $5 per day. Users will be billed for replacement of the item if it isn't returned in seven days.

We ask that you request an item online. The item will be prepared and you'll receive an email to your JCU email account when the item is available at the Grasselli Circulation Desk. Weekdays, items requested will be available within 24 hrs (usually the same day if the request is made in the morning). Requests made on a weekend will be available on the following Monday.

Walk-in requesting might be available, but can't be guaranteed due to Center staffing schedules, so please plan ahead for your needs.

Equipment can be returned to the Circulation Desk.

Flip Video UltraHD Camcorder

This easy to use camcorder can record up to 2 hours of digital video. The mp4 files created can be uploaded to your computer, published to JCUs Bluestream Video, Youtube or burned to a disk. The camera has a built-in USB connector that can connect to your PC or MAC and can install the software your computer will need from its memory.
